The Kilkee Moments team is a small group of volunteers with a background in Publications, IT, Social Media, Photography, Project Management and Fund Raising.
We are creating a hard back, full colour, coffee table book of photographs submitted by the public about Kilkee, Co. Clare. The book will be called Kilkee Moments, A Shared Album.
This publication is in aid of The Kilkee Marine Rescue Service which is an emergency lifeboat service covering an area from Loop Head to Spanish point. It is a voluntary service established since 1981. It receives a small annual grant from the Department of Communications, Marine and Natural Resources but most of its running costs are provided by fund raising events and donations from the public. In 2013, the service hope to purchase a new life boat costing 160,000 and The Kilkee Moments project aims to help fund this.
